Brain of Ant does not work about most of thinking.
Then, after head cutoff, an ant lives  for a while.

"Ophiocordyceps camponoti-balzani" is  an entomopathogenic fungus (a fungus that grows on insects)
The zombie ants parasitized  act the behavior for the will of Parasite. 　
But the brain of the zombi ant is not invaded by Parasite.
Then　there is not Ant's decision-making in brain essentially.

Where is Ant's decision-making? Except brain.?

「Ophiocordyceps camponoti-balzani」は昆虫寄生菌である。（昆虫上に寄生する菌）
寄生されたゾンビ蟻は、寄生者の意志のための行動を取る。
しかし、ゾンビ蟻の脳は、寄生者に侵略されない。
つまり、蟻の意志決定は元々脳に存在していない。

There are huge Intestinal bacteria in digestive organ.
Intestinal bacteria receive information or commands as telepathy.
Worker ant usually receives an order from Queen ant as telepathy.
In the case of the fungus, the fungus(= Parasite) controls Worker　ant directly, in  digestive organ.
